In Greene County magistrate court Christopher Michael Gilliland of Jefferson was sentenced Jan. 16 to 10 days in jail on a charge of domestic abuse assault. The jail time was suspended and he was placed on probation to the Greene County sheriff for one year. He was fined $105 with a $15.75 surcharge. Court costs were $91.50.
A case was initiated against Darrien Michael Lamar Peterson of Churdan on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
